15 Amazon Finds Every Disney World Visitor Should Pack

News Room

Packing for Walt Disney World can feel completely overwhelming. Between the Florida heat, unpredictable weather, and long days on your feet, what you bring can make or break the magic. As a longtime Disney Annual Passholder (which means I can get into the parks an unlimited number of times every year), I’ve seen it all and learned which travel accessories, gear, and clothing keep me comfortable, organized, and ready for whatever the parks throw my way.

I never take a Disney trip without bringing trusty staples like breathable bike shorts, a reusable rain poncho for the inevitable surprise showers, and a crossbody phone lanyard that keeps my device at my fingertips. After all, packing the right travel gear can turn any good Disney day into a great one. Here’s my roundup of must-have Amazon finds to make your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth smooth and stress-free.

My Favorite Disney World Essentials

Sweaty Betty Women’s Power Workout Dress

Amazon

The Sweaty Betty Power Workout Dress is basically your new best friend for long days of walking around Disney World. It has built-in shorts and a supportive bra, so you can run from rides to resorts without missing a beat. Plus, the stretchy, moisture-wicking fabric keeps you cool even during the hottest Florida heat waves. And that sneaky side pocket? Ideal for stashing your phone and your park ticket, because of course, you’ll want your hands free for Mickey pretzels.

Baleaf Women’s 8-inch Biker Shorts

Amazon

It never hurts to pack a pair of bike shorts for your trip. Whether you pair them with an oversized tee for a comfortable day hitting rides or just slip them on for a quick trip to your hotel’s ice machine, bike shorts always come in handy. One absolute must for me? Finding a pair that has pockets for easy access to essentials, much like these shorts with two side pockets big enough for a phone.

Reamphy 3-pack Slip Shorts for Women

Amazon

If you’re planning to wear a skirt or a dress to Disney, these slip shorts are a must. They’re lightweight enough that they won’t make you overheat during the hottest days, plus they’ll keep you safe both from chafing and, of course, accidentally flashing anyone if things get a little too windy while you’re walking.

Totes Adult’s Rain Poncho

Amazon

If there’s one thing you can plan on during a Disney vacation, is that it’s going to rain at some point during your trip. And most likely, whenever you least expect it. Even if the forecast calls for a day full of sunshine, I never hit the parks without throwing a poncho in my bag. This reusable one from Totes is great because it comes with a storage pouch. Plus, it’s actually kind of cute, so you can still pull off some great photos even if it’s raining. Bonus: ponchos are perfect for keeping you dry on water rides, like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

CS Celersport 6-pack Ankle Socks

Amazon

You’ll be on your feet all day at Disney, so packing comfortable socks is a must. I opt for my trusty Bombas ankle socks that stay in place and have just the right amount of cushion to prevent blisters, even after 20,000-plus steps. These CS Celersport ankle socks are a comparable version, according to Amazon shoppers, and a fraction of the price. Look for socks with some arch support, a cushioned sole, and a reinforced toe for enough comfort and durability.

Allbirds Women’s Tree Pipers

Amazon

I always try to pack a comfortable sneaker that’s versatile enough to match every outfit, whether I’m heading to Space Mountain or a special dinner. These low-top Allbirds Tree Pipers fit the bill because they’re lightweight and breathable, so your feet won’t overheat during long park days. Plus, they’re machine washable, so they’ll last you trip after trip with a quick wash. And, the cushioned sole will provide plenty of comfort and support for all-day walking.

Vacation Super Stick SPF 45

Amazon

No matter what time of year you visit, you’ll be getting a lot of sun during your time in the parks. Because of this, packing a good sunscreen is a must. I love this travel-size sunscreen stick because I don’t have to worry about it leaking in my bag, and the formula has been great on my sensitive skin. Plus, it’s easy to quickly swipe over my face or shoulders for full protection.

Ilia Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm

Amazon

It’s hard to find a lip product that will hold up to both the Florida heat and, of course, plenty of Disney snacks. I swear by this Ilia lip balm and usually stash a stick in every one of my bags so I’m always prepared. It’s hydrating and lightweight enough so that you never have to worry about cracks or creases, giving you just the right amount of tint.

Blaspins Crossbody Lanyard Strap Case

Amazon

You never know when your favorite character is going to appear, whether it’s Mickey waving from a parade float or a surprise meet-and-greet moment. The last thing you want is to be fumbling through your bag while the magic passes you by. That’s why I always use a crossbody phone lanyard when I’m in the parks. It keeps my phone right at my fingertips, so I’m ready for every photo op, mobile order, or Lightning Lane booking with no digging required.

Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs

Amazon

If you’re sensitive to noise (or just need a little break from the constant Disney buzz), these Loop earplugs are a game-changer. The soft silicone earplugs help take the edge off louder ride sounds, parades, and fireworks without making you feel cut off from the fun. They’re super comfortable, so they’re perfect for long park days or keeping by your bedside table just in case you get stuck next to a loud guest in the hotel room next door.

Jisulife Handheld Fan Pro Series

Amazon

Handfeld fans have become the newest non-negotiable park accessories, and I’m always on a quest to find a model that balances all my needs. I look for a portable fan that is lightweight and compact so that it doesn’t take up precious space in my park bag, as well as one that will hold a charge from rope drop to fireworks. Most importantly, it must produce a powerful breeze. This Jisulife Pro Series Handheld Fan checks all the boxes; although it’s more expensive than many models, it packs a serious punch for such a small size, keeping me cool walking in the direct sun or waiting in line.

Touchland Power Mist Hydrating Hand Sanitizer Spray, Travel Size (Set of 3)

Amazon

Between grabbing door handles, seatbelts, and ride bars, visiting any theme park means making contact with a lot of high-touch surfaces. Because of this, I always keep hand sanitizer within reach in my park bag. I love these Touchland travel-size sprays because they’re easy to tuck in my bag, smell great, and have a formula that never dries out my hands.

Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier Sugar Free

Amazon

Electrolytes are key to staying hydrated after a full day of Disney adventures in the hot sun. I’ll admit it, I was a late adopter of hydration powders, and I truly didn’t believe they could make much of a difference. But after trying Liquid I.V. for the first time, I felt like I came back to life almost instantly. Having an electrolyte-packed drink like Liquid I.V. in your hotel room or park bag is a total game-changer for recovering after a day of tens of thousands of steps.

Stoney Clover Lane Women’s Classic Fanny Pack

Amazon

This cult-favorite belt bag from Stoney Clover Lane has a loyal following for good reason: it’s compact but surprisingly roomy, built to last, and endlessly customizable with colorful patches. Whether you’re headed to Disney or breezing through airport security, I love this fanny pack for keeping my essentials close and remaining hands-free.

Away Carry-on Luggage

Amazon

No matter how many Mickey ears I may want to bring, I’m a traveler who refuses to check a bag. After all, who wants to wait by baggage claim when they could be on their way to the Magic Kingdom? But, as a chronic overpacker, I’ve had to find the best (and biggest) carry-on bag that still fits in most domestic airlines’ overhead bins. Enter the Away Carry-on. Its durable shell can stand up to Florida downpours, and the 360-degree spinner wheels make navigating even MCO’s iconic carpet a breeze. Plus, the inside compression system and included laundry bag keep everything organized and easy to access, so you can quickly change and hit the parks once you’ve checked in to your room.
