If you’ve ever planned a bachelorette party, you know the pressure of choosing the right location, sending the invites, collecting everyone’s payments, and making sure the entire group—especially the bride—has a good time. It’s no easy feat. Unfortunately, we can’t help you with most of that list, but we can definitely assist with the first item: picking the bachelorette party destination.
After polling several bachelorette party experts, we put together the ultimate list of bachelorette party destinations around the world. Whether you’re thinking something low-key—maybe a weekend on Nantucket or a Jane Austen-style getaway in the Cotswolds—or you’re planning to go all-out somewhere like Nashville or New Orleans, you’ll find all the inspiration you need from the ideas below.
Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
IreneCorti/Getty Images
It’s official: Everyone, bride included, is on board for a trip to the Caribbean. While there are numerous islands and tropical retreats to choose from, Jen Perrone, the founder of Jen Perrone Travel, suggests Grand Cayman. “If your friend group is spread across the U.S., Grand Cayman has nonstop flights from most major cities, making it a surprisingly easy destination to visit,” she says. And if you’re hoping to be right on the iconic Seven Mile Beach, book a set of suites at Palm Heights, a boutique hotel with picture-perfect photo ops around every corner. “In addition to your typical beach, pool, and spa offerings, Palm Heights also hosts wellness retreats and events—including pilates retreats, spa specials, and even ceramics events,” she adds. The itinerary basically writes itself.
Aruba
Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure
“Whether you’re looking for a boat-and-beach experience, a relaxing wellness weekend, or nightlife, Aruba really has something for everyone,” says Allison Odhner, the CEO and founder of Bach to Basic, a luxury planning service for bachelor and bachelorette parties. Perrone agrees, adding that Aruba also gets points for being outside of the hurricane belt; it’s an ideal choice for groups who want a white-sand beach but will be traveling in the late summer. No matter when the party is planned, you’ll definitely want to add a sunset catamaran cruise—complete with music and an open bar—to the agenda.
Aspen, Colorado

“Aspen is a stunning destination for a bachelorette party and one that is getting more popular,” says Odhner. “From winter sports to over-the-top aprés-ski, fine dining, and nightclubs, it truly has it all.” While a ski weekend is one direction the group can take, Aspen is a year-round destination. In the summer, there’s hiking, rafting, and horseback riding. “And, of course, shopping is a main attraction in Aspen. Imagine getting matching Kemo Sabe hats customized together,” says Perrone.
Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico
Mario Peixoto Photo/Adobe Stock
Amy Abbott, owner and director of Amy Abbott Events, calls Valle de Guadalupe “a hidden gem for wine-loving bachelorettes.” Her ideal itinerary includes staying at Encuentro Guadalupe, El Cielo Resort, or Andana, and spending the next few days wine tasting at Vena Cava, taking a cooking class with chef Cala Rivas, and chatting over cocktails at Cuatro Cuatros, a mountain-top bar with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
Thailand

When the group is on the smaller side—maybe just three or four people, tops—you’ll have more flexibility in where and when you can travel. You might even opt for a far-flung destination, like Thailand, Travel + Leisure’s 2025 Destination of the Year. “In the summer months, the Six Senses Samui provides a wellness-oriented stay while still being close to the action in town. You and your friends can relax at the beach during the day, enjoy a beautiful sunset view at dinner at Dining on the Rocks, and then go out to dance late at night,” says Perrone. “In the winter, stay at the Six Senses Koh Yao Noi for a serene island resort. While there, you can rent a party boat for the day and go island-hopping.”
St. Tropez, France
Chelsea Loren/Travel + Leisure
For a destination that’s just as glamorous as the bride-to-be, look no further than the French Riviera—specifically, St. Tropez. “During the day, your group can go out for wine tasting, spa treatments, yachting, or enjoy the beach clubs like Verde, Le Club 55, La Réserve à la Plage, Nikki Beach, or Playamigos. Late-night dancing at Les Caves du Roy is a must,” says Perrone. July and August are typically the warmest (and busiest) months in the area, so time your trip for either June or September. That way, you’ll experience fewer crowds, but you’ll still enjoy plenty of nice weather.
Turks and Caicos
Heather Durham/Travel + Leisure
When the bride’s singular request is to fly somewhere with endless sun and pristine beaches, her friends should start planning a bachelorette party in Turks and Caicos. While there’s no shortage of beachfront, group-friendly resorts in Providenciales (Provo), Perrone has two on her shortlist. “The Shore Club is the perfect hotel for brides who are into watersports. You can spend the day taking kiteboarding lessons or get out on a private yacht. Alternatively, Rock House is a stylish, newer resort. The hotel is nestled into the cliffs and feels like you could almost be at a European beach club. On the weekends, you’ll find live music, DJs, and dancing at the Cave Bar,” says Perrone.
Tulum, Mexico
Stephanie Pollak/Travel + Leisure
White sands (some of the whitest in the world, in fact), blue waters, and tropical vibes await in Tulum, a destination that both Odhner and Ellen Flowers, the content creator behind The Perennial Style, recommend for bachelorette parties. “From day beach clubs and music-filled brunches to dinners that turn into nightclubs, Tulum is a never-ending party,” says Odhner, though she also notes groups can also spend time snorkeling, exploring cenotes, and chartering boats along Mexico’s Caribbean Coast.
New Orleans, Louisiana
Jon Mattrisch/Travel + Leisure
The very first bachelorette party I ever went to was in New Orleans—and years later, I still think it’s one of the best places to host a group of friends. “After spending your days roaming the French Quarter and local art galleries, brace yourselves for a lively night ahead on Bourbon Street. Best of all, if you’re the squad who loves to don the pink boas and bachelorette accessories, you’ll fit right in and earn free drinks all night,” says Flowers. I’d also recommend saving one of your afternoons for an airboat tour, a group-friendly activity that takes you out of the city through nearby bayous and swamps where you’ll likely get to see alligators.
Joshua Tree, California
Irjaliina Paavonpera/Travel + Leisure
When one of my best friends sent her bachelorette party e-vite with a subject line containing the words “desert disco,” I knew we were in for a top-tier group trip in Joshua Tree. I wasn’t wrong. While it’s not the easiest destination to reach for those traveling from the East Coast—you’ll fly into Palm Springs and then drive or take an Uber for about an hour—it’s certainly a special place, one where you’re encouraged to embrace all things outdoors and otherworldly. Our bride-approved weekend included a hike in Joshua Tree National Park, photo ops in Pioneertown, and individual readings with an astrologist.
Harbour Island, Bahamas

Abbott says Harbour Island is ideal for the bride who wants “elegance, adventure, and tropical bliss.” Elegance can be found at The Dunmore, a property she describes as a “chic Caribbean-style boutique hotel with private beachfront bungalows, lush gardens, and impeccable service.” Adventures include chartering a boat to the nearby Exumas to see the swimming pigs or snorkeling in what she calls “the clearest waters in the Caribbean.” As for tropical bliss, well, that can be found anywhere on the island—especially when you’re sipping on a famous Goombay Smash from Ms. V’s beach hut.
Park City, Utah

Odhner describes Park City as a “real-life snow globe,” and one that’s at the top of her list when planning ultra-luxe winter bachelorette parties. “Snowmobiling, tubing, and skiing are, of course, on the list of things to do, but Park City also offers fun aprés-ski parties, delicious restaurants, and nightlife as well,” she says. Circle up for sushi and Champagne at The Vintage Room, cheers to the bride at the iconic No Name Saloon in downtown Park City, and gather everyone for a final sendoff at Riverhorse on Main.
Napa Valley, California
Napa Valley is far from an underrated bachelorette party destination, but there’s a reason—fine, a few reasons—it continues to be a solid choice for brides and their groups of loved ones. In the words of Odhner, “You’ll be surrounded by beautiful views, incredible wineries, and great cuisine.” Scenery, wine, and food? Check, check, check. Plus, this part of California has a variety of other activities to fill out the travel schedule. Odhner says Bach to Basic regularly adds ATV, gondola, horseback, or bike rides to their planned trips.
Bozeman, Montana

Grab your denim and cowboy boots; you’re headed to Bozeman, Montana. “Bozeman is one of those destinations that we see becoming increasingly popular over the next couple of years. Surrounded by epic beauty, this outdoorsy destination with Western vibes is perfect for the most picturesque bachelorette weekend,” says Odhner. Kick off the trip with brunch at Western Cafe, and follow it up with an easy hike down the Palisade Falls trail and a leisurely afternoon relaxing in the pools at Bozeman Hot Springs. If the bride fancies herself a cowgirl, you may also want to book a trail ride with 320 Guest Ranch or Canyon Adventures.
St. Barts
Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure
“Incredible house rentals, epic beach parties, luxe boat rentals, and fine dining are the key to a fabulous bachelorette in St. Barts,” says Odhner. As you’re creating a schedule that fits the bride’s preferences, be sure to add in cocktails at Rémy’s Club (a speakeasy at Eden Rock), an afternoon of jet skiing around the island, and a lively dinner at Bagatelle in Gustavia. It’s also important to note that the Caribbean island does see its peak number of visitors over the winter; if you visit over the summer, you’ll likely find better rates as well as fewer crowds (though some venues may be closed for the season).
Charleston, South Carolina
Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure
Not only am I a former Charleston resident, but I’ve also planned a Holy City bachelorette party or two. While there’s a high probability your group won’t be the only bachelorette party making your way down King Street, there are still plenty of ways to make the bride feel special. If she wants to prioritize time on the beach, book a house on either Folly Beach or Sullivan’s Island. If she wants to soak up Charleston’s history and architecture, book a tour with Walk and Talk Charleston. And if she’s interested in exploring one of the South’s best food scenes, grab tables at Lowland, Basic Kitchen, or Sullivan’s Seafood & Bar.
Jacó, Costa Rica
Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure
Bachelorette parties don’t have to leave you feeling drained and exhausted—and this destination is proof you can return home invigorated, inspired, and looking forward to the reunion at the wedding. For brides who prefer an active vacation, Perrone recommends a surf-centered bachelorette at Surf Synergy in Jacó, Costa Rica. They can thoughtfully curate an all-inclusive itinerary that includes “three meals a day, surf lessons with individual coaches for each guest at a variety of experience levels, massages, yoga, ice baths, and more. Your friends don’t have to stress about organizing all of the activities, and there’s no bill-tracking or splitting,” she explains.
Round Top, Texas
Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure
Located between Houston and Austin, Round Top, Texas is a tiny town with a big footprint. Named America’s Best Small Shopping Town, the destination is a vintage hunter’s dream; the roster of antique stores and galleries found within a single square mile is mind-blowing. Thanks to the tri-annual Original Round Top Antiques Fair, which brings in thousands of visitors every year, Round Top is also well-positioned to welcome groups of all sizes. When your party arrives in town, head to your pre-booked cottage at the Round Top Inn before setting out on foot to find cowboy boots at Townsend Provisions, ring in happy hour at Il Cuculo, and tuck into dinner at Mandito’s.
Punta Mita, Mexico

Everyone’s excited about Mexico, but they’ve already been to Cancún, Cabo, and Tulum. So what’s the next option? Flowers recommends Punta Mita. “Book a day trip on a catamaran, indulge in an inner cleansing with a local shaman, and post up at the Kupuri Beach Club before indulging in fabulous cuisine at local restaurants or hiring a private chef to your home,” she says. The best part, however, might be getting around the peninsula via golf cart. “There’s nothing quite like the ocean breeze as you explore the beautiful landscapes of the property,” Flowers adds.
Miami, Florida
Don Eim/Travel + Leisure
A bachelorette party in Miami can go one of two ways. On one hand, you can embrace the nightlife and dynamism the city is known for. You can do drinks and a burlesque show at the Faena Theater, followed by dancing at Saxony Bar & Lounge. Or, you can take a slower pace, scheduling spa treatments and lounging in the overwater hammocks at Four Seasons Hotel Miami. Either way, you really can’t go wrong with a bachelorette trip to Magic City.
Cotswolds, United Kingdom
Ivey Redding/Travel + Leisure
Bachelorette parties may be synonymous with late nights and boozy brunches, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be the case. Feel free to go the cozy route, which might just bring you to the English countryside. Many towns in the Cotswolds, including Cheltenham and Moreton-in-Marsh, are easily accessed via train, making the journey relatively seamless. Just be sure to draft a packing list for everyone that includes a good book, a pair of water-resistant walking shoes, and lots of sweaters, leggings, and fuzzy socks. Consider renting a cottage for an extra-cozy trip.
Willamette Valley, Oregon
Allen Gray/Adobe Stock
“While Napa and Sonoma frequently top the list for wine lovers, Willamette offers a more unique vibe for a girls trip,” says Flowers, speaking from her own experience in the PNW. The valley itself covers a broad area, but she specifically recommends Newberg, where you can find 100 wineries all within a 20-minute drive.“The laid-back vibe of Newberg provided the perfect setting for our homebase as we sipped our way through the region.”
Savannah, Georgia
Heather Durham/Travel + Leisure
Charleston and Nashville may take most of the glory when it comes to Southern bachelorette destinations, but Savannah isn’t too far behind. In fact, it’s almost tailor-made for group trips. Schedule a haunted walking tour, go on a pedal-powered pub crawl with Savannah Slow Ride, and gather the group for meals at Cotton & Rye, Treylor Park, and B. Matthew’s Eatery.
Banff, Canada
Lisa Marie/Getty Images
“While Banff offers outdoor adventures and stunning landscapes all year round, I highly recommend booking a long winter weekend here if your girlfriends love to ski—or at least appreciate a fabulous après-ski scene,” says Flowers. Alternatively, Banff is also lovely in the summer, accommodating larger groups with horseback riding, paddleboard tours, gorgeous hiking trails, and scenic gondola rides.
Nantucket, Massachusetts
Kathryn Donohew Photography/Getty Images
If the bride requests anything along the lines of “Nancy Myers core” or “coastal grandmother aesthetic,” you should immediately book a house on Nantucket. The girls trips I’ve attended have always included lobster rolls from Cru, afternoons at Cisco Brewers, and bike rides to Sconset for blueberry muffins from Sconset Market and a stroll along the bluff walk. You might even brave a night at The Chicken Box, a legendary late-night spot on the island.
Lodi, California
MattGush/Getty Images
Napa and Sonoma aren’t the only wine destinations in California. Located between the San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just 40 minutes from Sacramento, Lodi boasts more than 85 wineries, all complemented by the area’s relaxed, approachable atmosphere. Don’t expect to throw a wild, raucous bachelorette party here; instead, the bride and her loved ones can enjoy a private tasting at Harney Lane Vineyards, relaxing treatments at Wine & Roses Spa, a restorative yoga class at Wild + Well, and a civilized pottery-making class at Meet the Maker.
Cartagena, Colombia
Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure
“Whether you want to dance until sunrise, sip mojitos on a private yacht, or explore colonial streets, Cartagena offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” says Abbott. Plus, she adds, “The Caribbean atmosphere, world-class dining, and legendary nightlife make it an ideal spot for a bachelorette trip that combines relaxation and celebration.” Depending on your group’s preferences, you may enjoy the live DJs at Makani Luxury Beach Club, a sunset sail with views of Cartagena’s skyline, salsa dancing at Café Havana, or shopping in the Old Town—all activities Abbott recommends for a bachelorette trip.
Chicago, Illinois
Christopher Larson/Travel + Leisure
When the bridal party is spread out across the U.S., you may want to go with a central, easy-to-reach location. Chicago should fit the bill. Upon your arrival to the Windy City, you can begin checking off all the tourist spots together. Time the trip with a Chicago Cubs home game at Wrigley Field (a must if the bride is a baseball fan), swing by Millennium Park for a group photo in front of “The Bean,” and watch an improv show at The Second City.
Nashville, Tennessee
Taylor McIntyre/Travel + Leisure
It wouldn’t be a complete list of the best bachelorette party destinations without mentioning Nashville. For years, Music City has remained a top choice for “last hurrahs,” and there’s no sign it will lose that recognition anytime soon. In true bachelorette party fashion, you’ll want to journey down Broadway, stopping into Robert’s Western World or Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, and take group photos in front of Nashville’s iconic murals. It’s not very original, but it’s still fun.
Scottsdale, Arizona
Jackson Vance/Travel + Leisure
Scottsdale is another favorite on the bachelorette party circuit—and for good reason. There’s year-round sunshine, easy access to hiking (Camelback Mountain is a classic), all manner of bars and clubs, and a variety of places for group stays, whether you’re leaning toward a resort or a rental. A pool party at Maya Dayclub or a Pedal Bike Pub Crawl tour may also be activities you’re inclined to add to the agenda.
