The New Ikon Pass Will Go on Sale on March 12

News Room
  • The 2026 Ikon Pass will offer access to 76 mountain destinations worldwide, including new unlimited access to Arapahoe Basin and expanded Midwest resorts.
  • Pass holders will see added perks like reservation-free skiing at Aspen Snowmass and bonus days at select North American mountains.
  • Ikon is also offering immediate spring skiing access at several partner resorts, giving buyers more value right away.

Ski season is still in full swing, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start thinking about next winter, too. In fact, the Ikon Pass will start selling for the next season on March 12.

“This season, Ikon Pass holders enjoyed an array of new and improved infrastructure and services around the Ikon Pass community, including 17 new lifts, three gondolas, terrain expansions, lodges and amenities, upgraded snowmaking, and one of the largest ski expansions in history at Deer Valley Resort in Utah,” Matt Bowers, senior vice president of marketing and products at Alterra Mountain Company, shared in a statement with Travel + Leisure. “[Next winter] will bring new destinations to explore and new offerings that provide Ikon Pass holders with even more flexibility, allowing them to chase snow and outdoor adventure across 76 premier mountain destinations around the world.”

Next season’s tickets will include access to 76 destinations across the Americas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. That will include all-new, unlimited access to Arapahoe Basin in Colorado, five-day access to Snowmass in Colorado on the Ikon Base Pass (with select blackout dates), as well as reservation-free lift access at Aspen Snowmass. Ikon Pass holders will also no longer need to make lift reservations at Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk.

New this year, Ikon Pass holders will get more access to Midwest mountains, including seven days of access to Snowriver Mountain Resort in Michigan, Lutsen Mountains in Minnesota, and Granite Peak in Wisconsin, with no blackout dates. They’ll also get five-day access each on the Ikon Base Pass, with select blackout dates. (Snowriver Mountain Resort, Lutsen Mountains, and Granite Peak are all available on the Ikon Session Pass.)

“Granite Peak, Lutsen Mountains, and Snowriver Mountain Resort are known for their family-friendly environment and dedication to delivering unforgettable winter adventures and are an ideal fit for loyal and new Ikon Pass holders,” Charles Skinner, the president and owner of Midwest Family Ski Resorts, said. “We look forward to welcoming our new Ikon Pass guests for a truly unique Midwest mountain experience.”

But hang on, there’s more. Ikon Pass holders also get two free days (with select blackouts) at Bonus Mountains across North America, including a few new spots this year, like Tamarack Resort in Idaho and Devil’s Head Resort in Wisconsin.

And just in case you feel like you’re missing out on all the fun, Ikon is also giving immediate unlimited spring skiing access to some of its best mountain partners, including Big Bear Mountain Resort, Snow Valley, Crystal Mountain, Schweitzer, Solitude Mountain Resort, Snowshoe, Stratton, Sugarbush Resort, and Blue Mountain, Canada. And, starting April 6, 2026, Ikon Pass holders will get access to Arapahoe Basin, Winter Park, Steamboat, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain, Palisades Tahoe, Tremblant, and Deer Valley (no reservations required).

We love summer and all, but this sure does have us looking forward to doing winter all over again.
