Aman junkies, rejoice: you can now book your sailing on Amangati, the brand’s first yacht, launching in spring 2027.
The newly announced 2027 itineraries will take Amangati to the Mediterranean Sea for its inaugural season, with five- to eight-night itineraries, an Aman spokesperson confirmed to Travel + Leisure exclusively.
The first trip on offer will depart Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on May 7, 2027, and sail to Menorca, Barcelona, and Palamós in Spain, before entering France to visit Marseille, Saint-Tropez, and conclude in Nice on May 13.

“We have received strong interest from our guests, as well as those who have never considered a traditional cruise before,” says Vlad Doronin, the CEO of Aman Resorts, in an exclusive interview with T+L. “Our loyal guests—they call themselves Aman junkies—follow the brand wherever it goes, and Amangati is the next chapter in their journey with Aman.”
A few of the Amangati’s 2027 itineraries are tied to lauded European events, such as the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix. If ever you’ve aspired to attend the coveted Formula 1 race and then adjourn back to your yacht, next year will be your chance.
The vessel will also travel to Italy, Greece, Malta, and Croatia in 2027, offering experiences that can’t be replicated by larger ships. For example, Amangati will sail Venice’s Giudecca Canal (and use tenders to guide guests up the Grand Canal), something that has become rare for cruise ships, since it is small enough to be allowed on waterways that are today off limits to big ships.
Aman
“Amangati is not a cruise ship but a private, refined, and deeply personalized experience,” Doronin tells T+L. “With the ability to enter smaller ports, the experience feels closer to owning a private yacht than joining a cruise. Space, privacy, and service define everything we do. Amangati is in a category of its own, and I believe it will change how people think about luxury travel at sea.”
The ship will arrive at a moment of considerable innovation in small-ship cruising. Other hotel brands, including Four Seasons and Orient Express, are also developing their own yacht-inspired vessels.
For its part, Amangati will have nine decks, two helipads, and 47 suites with the “elegant simplicity of a Japanese ryokan, full-height windows, and generous terraces,” according to documents shared with T+L.
Aman
Aman Resorts are known for their expansive spas, and Amangati will not disappoint: the one on board will have eight “ocean-facing treatment suites and a Japanese garden,” the company’s documentation suggests. Amangati will also have a marina and lounge with direct water access, four restaurants, and six bars and lounges for a maximum of 94 guests.
